York

By macu In England, Europe

York is a charming ancient city in Northern England, accessible by train from London or Edinburgh in less than 2.5 hours. Its Massive gothic cathedral took 250 years to build.

Their local dry-cured ham, invented around 1870, is quite famous. Spanish people call all sorts of pink ham “Jamón de York”, very different from their serrano ham.
